You’ve seen Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood in the hit TV show but now ‘The Great Leeds University Bake Off’ is coming to the Union.
Competitors working either individually, or in pairs, will be told the baking challenges on March 3, 10 and 17. Their baking creations will then be sold in the Union on March 7, 14 and 21.
With two runners up and the winner of the competition being awarded ‘mystery prize’ students are sure to be popping cakes in the oven across Leeds.
All of the profits from the Bake Off will go towards the Enactus charity, which runs projects to improve the quality of life of people in need. This encourages students to make a difference in their communities, while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders.
One student told LS: “I can’t wait to see and try all of the creations.”
