There’s no better way to kickstart 2014 than with a splash of colour and we’re doing just that with our waterfall nails this week. From tip to base, nails are jazzed up with all sorts of polish, not to mention glitter! Some artists have opted for a white base and pastel coloured detail, while others go full out with blinding neons. Either way, eye catching hues are what we’re going for with this look.

If you’d prefer a simpler waterfall design, you can stick to a single colour scheme that varies between light and dark shades. To achieve the ideal design you’ll need striping brushes, but not to worry – Amazon offer three different sized brushes for no more than £2 a set.
