News | Leeds students talk feminism on BBC

A special show on feminism featuring Leeds students is to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

The programme looks at the increased attention feminism has had over 2013,  including Femsoc’s protests following the Tequila controversy.

Femsoc coordinator Freya Potter said: “It’s amazing that our society and campaigning this semester was noticed by the BBC and that they have chosen to focus on Leeds where there is so much great activism happening.”

The show will air at 10pm on Christmas Eve.
