Christmas is upon us and nail artists have not only been decorating their trees this year. Santa, Rudolph, holly, snowmen – you name it! Anything that says ‘Christmas cheer’ can be found on our nails this festive week.

Red, green, gold, silver or anything that adds a little sparkle makes the perfect polish to jingle up those talons this week. Of course, we’re all dreaming of a white Christmas which would explain the snowflakes and snowmen that currently dominate design trends, but of course old Santa and Rudolph are not far behind. Questionable Christmas jumper designs are popular for nail artists too – but then again, why wouldn’t they be? Nothing says ‘It’s Christmas’ like a Mark Darcy style jumper.

If you fancy some sophisitication this week , opt for one of the ‘snowy’ looking polishes that create the entire Christmas effect for you, such as OPI’s ‘Solitaire’ or Essie’s ‘Pure Perfection’. As long as your nails are glistening, you’ll be set for the festivities.
