Nail artists are ruffling up their feathers for this week’s nail trend. Since the Victoria’s Secret Angels spread their wings for a ‘Birds of Paradise’ themed fashion show in November, feathers have floated down into the fashion world and have effortlessly become a popular way to doll up your attire this festive season.

The typically neutral colours of feather designs are replaced by glammed up pinks, golds, blues and greens that really pack a sassy punch this week, with nail artists adding that extra shimmer to their feather designs, such as the gold glitter added by @coranevia, the bronze glitter used by @sirennnails and the embellishment added by @clarewarner1. @demis_nails_x has really whipped out the glam with her neon pink and multicolor based design, whilst @ahnailart has done a feather mani inspired by VS model Lindsay Ellingson’s catwalk look.

We may not ever be able to work the runway like VS supermodels Adriana Lima and Miranda Kerr, but we can definitely pull off chic looking nails with a stylish feather manicure this week.
