A second strike is to be held on December 3 as pay disputes among University academics and staff continue.

Staff across the country have been working to contracted hours since November 1, as unfair pay remains an issue.

The first strike was held on Thursday, October 31 and saw lecture cancellations and library closures across campus.

The second scheduled strike will see members of UCU, Unite and Unison joined by the Scottish education union.

Higher Education staff have been offered a one per cent pay increase.
