Two Fashion and Textiles students are going to see their jumpers in M&S stores nationwide.
Both contestants beat hundreds of other student applicants across the coun- try, with third year Molly Cormican winning for menswear and Katherine Watson winning in womenswear.
The fashion students met HRH Prince of Wales, one of the main patrons for Wool School, which ran the competition.
Cormican told LS: “I was so pleased when I heard M&S and Campaign for Wool had selected my design.”
The third year has also had previous designs fea- tured in publications such as British Vogue and GQ magazine.
Watson commented: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won. It was a fantastic initiative to be involved in.”
She added: “The competition offered me a unique chance to work with M&S and to promote the benefits of wool to a wider audience.”
Both collections are available online and in stores now.
