Fashion | Micro Trend – Powder Blue

Tones for the autumn season can often feel a little like a transitional no man’s land, caught between the eye-popping summer neons and the rich winter woolens. However, it’s become clear both from the fashion week catwalks and by the clothes on the high street that sherbet shades, particularly this cool blue hue, are here and they have a lot to offer.
But how do you pull off such a sugary look without resembling a stick of raspberry candyfloss? The trick is to chose one pastel piece and offset it with heavier shades and textures, such as charcoal leather trousers, a thick navy polo neck or a metallic burgundy tote. You could even throw in some studded jewellery or a smoky eye. Sugary, but not too sweet.
