This Sunday, Leeds will play host to one of the greatest legends in hip hop as Beat Bar presents DJ Premier.

Premier’s style epitomises of the unique sounds of New York hip hop and he is known to sample soul, funk and jazz artists in his own productions, as well as drawing from a wide and eclectic mix of other hip hop artists in his live sets.

Rolling Stones recognised Premier as tenably hip hop’s greatest producer of all time and the Houston-born music monarch has worked with an astonishing amount of hip hop artists; everyone from Big L to Big Daddy Kane and more recently Joey Bada$$.

If you’re a hip hop fan or you just want to witness a true master at work then Sunday is simply not one to miss.
