News | Leeds 12th best in country

Leeds University has been ranked 12th best in the country for overall student satisfaction.

The survey using data from the National Student Survey looked at a variety of different areas, including academic excellence, accommodation costs, sports facilities and crime rates in each local area.

Despite its overall national ranking, Leeds was placed second highest in Yorkshire with Leeds Metropolitan University was only ranking in the top 30 in the country.

Another important factor that was included in the survey was social life.

Leeds has been voted in the top five for best social life.

The University has also been named as the second most promiscuous in the UK and the most promiscuous in England. One student told LS: “I think it’s disgusting that promiscuity is being encouraged in this manner. Loads of people are really proud about this statistic.”

Leeds was beaten to the title by St Andrews. A bemused student commented “I’m surprised that St Andrews beat us as they’re a much smaller uni.”
