Cocoon in the Park returns to Leeds this year, celebrating its fifth birthday with the help of some of the biggest DJs in electronic music today.

The lineup consists of just four DJs, but punters couldn’t really ask for more with the likes of techno giants Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos set to play presumably extended sets to fill the day.  Cocoon founder and veteran techno screwball Sven Vath headlines, while the final slot is given to the slightly lesser known tech-house DJ and Fabric resident Craig Richards.

Another part of the expanding Mint universe, the festival is hosted by Mint’s requisite techno night System, and for those who won’t be around in July, look out for the return of Mint Festival this September for similar vibes.

Taking place on Saturday July 13th at the scenic surroundings of Temple Newsam, Cocoon in the Park is clearly the best option this summer for those wanting to attend an all day dance music festival in Leeds.  The first two ticket releases have sold out, but tickets are still very much available at £45, with V.I.P. tickets going for £75.
