If you weren’t at Leeds Town Hall yesterday you missed a treat!
For the first time in twenty five years, two societies combined to stage an ambitious and exciting afternoon of musical delights. LUU Music Society and LUU Big Band joined forces this Sunday to perform a charity concert in aid of ‘Lost Chord’, with a set list that boasts music from The Rat Pack, Gershwin and well-known classics such as ‘Fly Me to the Moon’. The theme of American classics created an informal and fun concert that everyone enjoyed. With 150 students involved; including two choirs, five ensembles and two orchestras, it was a fantastic music event.
