‘Candy Kittens’, owned by Leeds graduate and ‘Made In Chelsea’ star Jamie Laing, has announced plans to sell its products in Leeds.
Laing’s company aims to “have beautiful, sexy, fun, flirty girls alongside the sweets”. He was inspired to create a new kind of sweet shop after visiting a store in New York. Heir to the McVitie’s fortune, the project is Laing’s first business venture.
The prestigious department store Harvey Nichols has announced it will stock the Candy Kittens merchandise, which has achieved cult popularity thanks to the success of the E4 reality show.
According to the Victoria Quarter, the store will stock a range of the Candy Kittens products which include “a variety of scrumptious sweets… presented in retro Kilner jars”.
Laing will be attending Harvey Nichols’ ‘Candy Kittens’ launch event on February 26, signing autographs and promoting the company.
