Although Halloween might be over for another year, horror fans can enjoy a last hurrah with LIFF’s annual ‘Night of the Dead’ movie marathon. Five films. One night. More zombies than you can shake a stick at.

This year the line-up consists of titles from Canada, the USA, Russia, and Sweden, including the world premiere of Meteletsa: Winter of the Dead (gangsters verses zombies!) , and the UK premiere of Wither (demons verses holidaymakers!) as  well as a showing of the highly anticipated V/H/S which has already been delighting audiences in America.

The two films completing the line-up are 13 Eerie (students verses zombies!) and A Little Bit Zombie (zombies and weddings!). You might have spotted a theme here, so if you’re a fan of the undead or just love all things guts and gore, Night of the Dead is sure to entertain. The atmosphere is always great too- even if by 4am you might be starting to resemble an extra from The Walking Dead yourself.
