With November fast approaching and student loans fast decreasing, perhaps now might be the time to be a bit more carefully in choosing which gigs we really ought to go to. Here’s our picks on what Leeds’ venues have on offer next month!
1st November – Ellen and the Escapades – Brudenell Social Club
Leeds’ very own folky 5-piece make their hometown return on the first day of the month, following a UK tour of their latest album ‘All The Crooked Scenes’. You can listen to latest single release ‘Without You’ below.

9th November – Jessie Ware – Cockpit

Endless radio play and an excellent performance on ‘Later With Jools Holland’, Jessie Ware is a not-to-be missed popstar. You can listen to her hit ‘Night Light’ below, and you can read a review of the track itself HERE.

10th November – The Crookes – Cockpit
Self-proclaimed ‘new-pop’ band The Crookes may well be ones to watch out for, especially if you’re a fan of bands such as Frankie & The Heartstrings and The Heartbreaks. Their band ‘Hold Fast’ is available to download now. You can listen to album track ‘Only In The Dark’ below and to read an interview we did with the band at this year’s Y Not festival, click HERE.

29th November – The Lovely Eggs – Wharf Chambers
