This Saturday sees Vagabondz return to its home in Leeds for its first event this academic year at Leeds University Union, sporting a lengthy bass-centric lineup as per usual.

Dubstep pioneer Loefah headlines, though he’s strayed far from his dubstep roots, tending to play music closer to techno or electro in feel these days, or what the man himself terms ‘swamp shit’, after the successful London-based label he now runs, Swamp 81.

Zed Bias is also set to play, an artist whose long history in the UK rave scene stretches back through to early dubstep, broken beat and UK garage, but who now has a comfortable home at Swamp 81 under Loefah’s careful guidance (‘take the swing out’!).

But it’s not just a Swamp affair of course.  Relative newcomers to the scene Dark Sky will also play, along with like-minded Bristolian bass producer Throwing Snow.  Meanwhile, drum & bass artist Jubei and dubstep/drum & bass producer and Rinse FM DJ Icicle provide harder sounds for those in search of a faster tempo.
