Debuting upper-class aesthetics and grown-up glam, this Autumn/ Winter lookbook could be mistakenly branded. No, it’s not Whistles. Believe it or not it isn’t Ted Baker. Pleasing our thrifty student shopping habits, you have Primark to thank for this one.
Taking Blair Waldorf styling tips for the ladies, and quintessentially British looks for the boys, this season’s collection is more fashion led than ever. Late ‘60s style reigns through layered knits, chunky tweeds, clashing-print co-ords and detailed minis, whereas the boys’ collection beholds a more traditional look with tailored tweeds and earthy looks, along with some casual modern highlights like the brightly lined combat coat.
Whilst quality might lacking, style points certainly aren’t. Due to drop in shops at the end of the month, with our notoriously hectic Headrow store, prepare your elbow jabbing tactics early.
