Clearly, it’s been a big year for Blighty what with the games and the royal celebrations, and nothing says congrats in fashion quite like collaboration does. Establishing a reputation as a hoarder of fresh, young talent, London is teeming with of-the minute designers. From the hype of Jonathan Saunders to the international swell surrounding print-genie Mary Katrantzou, it’s our capital that’s making the industry talk. Sparking a few more things to frenzy over, British retailer Matches is making us squeal for good cause, thanks to the launch of their charity t-shirt project. Supporting British Design, and benefitting ‘The Dispossessed Fund’, their limited edition tees are helping to fight poverty in London. Raising $8.4million in only two years of establishment, with these 8 collaborative tees, the fund is ready to raise a whole lot more.
Erdem, Holly Fulton, Herself, Jonathan Saunders, JW Anderson, Mary Katrantzou, Richard Nicoll and Roksanda Ilincic each designed a unique graphic tee, and at an affordable £50, we’re taking one of each. That’s what we like, an excuse to shop.
